Diferents combinacions de pols de carbur de tungst\u00e8 fos, pols de carbur de tungst\u00e8 macrocristal\u00b7l\u00ed, pols de carbur de tungst\u00e8 fosa esf\u00e8rica, pols WC-Co triturada i pellets de carbur cimentat s&#039;utilitzen com a fases dures per barrejar-se amb pols de n\u00edquel i altres aliatges. La pols de la matriu t\u00e9 una excel\u00b7lent resist\u00e8ncia al desgast combinada, resist\u00e8ncia a l&#039;abrasi\u00f3 i resist\u00e8ncia a la corrosi\u00f3, resist\u00e8ncia a la ruptura transversal.
