Se utilizan diferentes combinaciones de polvo de carburo de tungsteno fundido, polvo de carburo de tungsteno macrocristalino, polvo de carburo de tungsteno fundido esf\u00e9rico, polvo de WC-Co triturado y gr\u00e1nulos de carburo cementado como fases duras para mezclar con polvo de n\u00edquel y otras aleaciones. El polvo de matriz tiene una excelente resistencia combinada al desgaste, resistencia a la abrasi\u00f3n y resistencia a la corrosi\u00f3n, resistencia a la rotura transversal.
